My name is Lisa Black. My family is the most important thing to me. My husband and I embarked on an adventure to the Pacific Northwest in June 2017. We decided to seek our passions for the great outdoors and bring our daughter to learn from experiencing a whole new world. We have grown exponentially and learned so much about the world and ourselves. We added two maltipoo puppies to our family this past year.
My background has been centered around intermediate students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I started my teaching career in The Woodlands, Texas as a general education 5th grade teacher. I then taught 4th and 3rd graders throughout the years. Several years ago, I went back to school to get my endorsement in Special Education because I have a passion for diversifying instruction to reach all learners. I am certified to teach in the state of Washington and am endorsed in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Middle School Math and Science, Administration/Principalship, Special Education, and ELL (English Language Learners).
